Driller in Training

Core Drilling Corp. is looking for a "Driller in Training" to assist in the operations of our drill units. Core services western Canada out of the following locations: Calgary, Camrose, and High Prairie. We are looking for an individual that has 1 year of environmental and geotechnical experience drilling, is competent in SPT sampling, hollowstem and solid stem drilling methods, and piezometers installations.

Prequalification includes: Class 3 with Air Brakes, H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance Level II, CSTS or PST and the ability to work in the field.

Drillers Assistant

Core Drilling Corp. is looking for a "Drillers Assistant" to assist in the operations of our drill units. Core services western Canada out of the following locations: Calgary, Camrose, and High Prairie. We are looking for an individual that has experience working with heavy equipment and a strong mechanical background.

Prequalification includes: Class 3 with Air Brakes, H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance Level II, CSTS or PST and the ability to work in the field.

Shop Assistant

Core Drilling Corp. is looking for a "Shop Assistant" to assist in the day to day maintenance of our equipment and general shop help. This is a part time position based in Calgary.

Prequalification includes: Class 5 drivers license, first aid, mechanical skills, and general mechanical background. Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.

Drilling Manager

Core Drilling Corp. is looking for a "Drilling Manager" to assist in Calgary operations. Core services western Canada out of the following locations: Calgary, Camrose, and High Prairie. The position is a Calgary based position with the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of our drill rigs
  • Ensure the safety and efficiency of the drill crew, the equipment and the overall operation
  • Train and mentor drill crew members with regards to job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Resolve field related problems
  • Manage crew performance and provide coaching and discipline as needed
  • Prepare reports for operations and clients
  • Order supplies and materials for drill crews
  • Perform maintenance and inspections on equipment
  • Field sales and audits
  • On call support for crews and clients
Qualifications:
  • Completion of secondary school(high school diploma)
  • Technical Institute/College diploma/degree/certificate in a relevant discipline an asset
  • Minimum 3 years experience with auger drilling techniques
  • Previous mechanical experience required
  • Hydraulic system experience required
  • Valid drivers license with air brake endorsement
  • Training certificates; First aid, H2S, CSTS/PST, Ground Disturbance
